The land was outside the AONB and village settlement and was poor quality and essentially used for grazing. The land had a narrow frontage to Kennylands Road with the access being sufficient for agricultural vehicles only.

The land was promoted for development through the Neighbourhood Plan. Additional land sufficient for an access and to deliver a meaningful site area was assembled. The company worked closely with the Parish Council and Neighbourhood Plan Working Group to secure a site allocation.

Planning was achieved for 25 dwellings. Construction commenced in 2020 and the development completed in 2022.
