BREWHOUSE LANE, HARTLEY WINTNEY
This former employment site was occupied by a local joinery firm situated within the Conservation Area of this historic market town.
The property had many constraints being adjacent to both listed buildings and the local Fire Station; in an area known to flood and accessed via an unadopted private road.
We worked with the Neighbourhood Plan Group to secure one of only two housing allocations within the Hartley Wintney Neighbourhood Plan and subsequently negotiated with both the planning and conservation officers at Hart DC to devise a bespoke courtyard scheme that fitted within the physical constraints and complemented the Conservation Area.
Planning permission was secured in 2019 and development is now underway.
