Both upsizers and downsizers have registered interest in a select development of just nine detached T A Fisher homes in Shinfield which launches Sat 21st/Sun 22nd April, 10am – 4pm.
The development of three and four bedroom detached family houses at Lane End has attracted a mix of potential buyers, many of them from nearby conurbations.
Craig Robertson, director at David Cliff estate agents whom are marketing the homes on behalf of T A Fisher, said Shinfield already appealed to people from more densely populated areas.
He said: “What you tend to find in Shinfield is a lot of people move there from bigger suburbs like Lower Earley and Woodley because it is a little bit more exclusive.”
But he said Lane End offers even more exclusivity. David Cliff assisted T A Fisher in acquiring the site which already had planning permission for nine homes. T A Fisher, said Craig, ‘improved and enhanced’ the original scheme.
All nine are being sold on the open market and those interested from the initial promotions represent both people moving up the property ladder and those looking to downsize while remaining in a quality environment. Many already have their eyes on specific plots.
Hundreds of homes are being built in larger developments in the wider area, and Craig observed that that made Lane End a rarity, being both exclusive and maintaining competitive prices.
Craig added: “I think that is the thing about these homes, it’s a select development. That’s what differentiates it from its competitors, you get an intimate smaller, setting.
“Another thing is the T A Fisher name. People are aware of their company history locally and it’s a name that stands out from the crowd. They know they are going to get a product of a certain quality and specification.”
