The Rosedene development of two detached five bedroomed houses proved a social media hit when it was first publicised by the Wokingham office of estate agent Richard Worth.
A message on its Facebook page in February surprised the agent when it attracted more traffic to its site than any previous social media message.
Richard Worth land director Oliver Hicks said: “It was huge on social media. It was the biggest response we have had on our website.”
The two homes, now taking viewings, are in the valued RG40 postcode on Finchampstead Road, where school provision is among the most sought after. Both back onto the Sand Martins golf course on a site where two rather unloved houses had previously stood.
Rosedene was the name of one of those homes and T A Fisher wanted to maintain that link by using it for this new development. Both houses have large areas for entertaining and could suit families, young professionals moving up as well as older people who want a high standard of rooms for family to stay. In each house two of the bedrooms are en suite and there is a separate bathroom.
Managing director John Fisher said: “This is an example of a quality development which fits well in an established community. It is only two miles out of the town centre yet it is close to magnificent open spaces and ancient heathlands.”
