The Botanics, High Street, Theale

T A Fisher acquired the site unconditionally and without planning permission, subsequently securing planning consent for 15 residential units and a 2,000 sq ft retail unit. The scheme was carefully designed to respond positively to its sensitive Conservation Area setting, creating a high-quality development that complements the character of the High Street while making efficient use of a previously developed site.

The completed development provides a well-designed mix of residential and commercial accommodation, with the new courtyard creating an attractive and appropriately landscaped setting for the apartments. Particular attention was given to the quality of the architecture, materials and detailing to ensure the development integrated successfully within the Conservation Area.

The development was successfully completed, with the retail unit let to Kutchenhaus being retained as an investment.
