Insurance refund because T A Fisher homes are so good

Categories: General, New Homes

At a time when quality of new homes is being questioned in the national news, T A Fisher has been refunded insurance premiums because of the lack of claims made against its properties.

The Thames Valley housebuilder has been paid a refund on contributions to the NHBC, the body which sets standards in house construction and which provides 10 years of cover for new houses.

Refunds are made to ‘long serving builders with very good claims records’ and T A Fisher was sent a significant refund because its homes attracted no claims against those it registered during the financial year 2002/3.

Managing director John Fisher said: “One of our greatest strengths is the reputation we have built in the Thames Valley.

“The quality of our homes is widely known but this is a genuine endorsement, showing that the people who buy the homes make very few claims compared to those in the wider industry.

“People can move into one of our homes in the knowledge it has been built by a local company with an excellent name dating back more than 120 years. Very few housebuilders can say that.”
